Arms were on the docket for today. I have been doing the 21 Day Fix workouts for almost two years as part of my workout line up. When I was lake, most of my workouts came from running or water sports. The workout today was almost too easy. I was sweating like crazy, but it wasn’t exactly taxing. Time to up my game. The water skiing defiantly made me stronger.
Mental and Hormone Pillar:
Post Vacation Depression is still in full force today. Add a bad attitude and it doesn’t make for a great place to visit today. It’s not just me, it’s the kids too. Thankfully they will be gone for the weekend at a church retreat. They need a break from me and I need a break from them. Phew.
The stress level is high over here with our ever growing lawn of weeds. It is so demoralizing to come back from a restful couple of weeks to see our 2 foot high lawns of weeds. For those of you that are just getting to know me, we have had some serious septic issues in the last two years. Serious. As in worse case scenario. I have a blog post planned for that entire debacle, but I want to wait until we are *ahem* out of the weeds. There is still more work to do.
As of right now, I cannot even look out our back windows. The amount of work there is to do is over whelming. I am in complete denial and refuse to even adult about it today.
I need to get some sleep. Hopefully I will have a better attitude tomorrow when my brain has had a chance to get it together.
Still too busy to eat today. I have got to get better about this. I did go through Portillo’s and get a chopped salad no noodles, but that was probably the most solid meal I ate. Lots of grab and go today.
Brain and Spine Pillar:
I’m still working on all the stretches the chiropractor gave me to do. I can defiantly feel the difference already. Here are the stretches if you’re interested.
